Did you know: you cannot just submit an email to Amazon using the form on their site unless it’s associated with an item or an order? This is a stupid idea, especially for cases where, I dunno, the problem or suggestion in question is with the website!
Still, that’s not the main thrust of this.
To whom it may concern:
Can we please, please, please, please, please, please, please, PLEASE have the ability to add multiple items from the recommendations list to the Wish List or cart at once? Sometimes I want to add 9 or 10 items that are recommended to me to either the wishlist or cart and instead, I have to
1) add one item
2) navigate back to my recommendations page
3) hope it’s still on the recommendations page where I left it
4) repeat steps 1-3 about 10 times in a rowI’d rather do this:
1) click checkboxes beside items I’m interested in
2) click an ‘Add Checked Items to Cart’ or ‘Add Checked Items to Wishlist’ buttonAnd boom, done in two steps.
PLEASE! Pass this along to whoever it needs to be passed along to in order to consider adding this! It’s an incredibly obvious feature, and in this day and age I’m honestly shocked that Amazon.com doesn’t already have it.
Thanks,
Phil

Well, Resident Evil fans, Destructoid has good news and ‘meh’ news.

The good news: Famitsu’s confirmed the RE4 remake for the Wii. You’ll be aiming with the Wiimote (ala the upcoming Metroid Prime 3), shaking the remote while holding B to reload (ala House of the Dead 4?), and waving the controller without B to knife some zombie bitches (ala … Resident Evil: Deadly Silence, I guess). This port’s gonna include the added stuff from the PS2 version, such as the Ada missions, as well as a trailer for Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles.
The meh news: The meh news is Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles.
It appears that the Wii “original” Resident Evil title, Umbrella Chronicles, will be a first-person gun shooter on (wait for it) rails. There will be no free movement (other than occasionally choosing your path), with the game focused entirely on shooting. The game will detail the fall of Umbrella Corp., and will include most main characters previously seen in the series.
In preparation for this potential disaster, gamers can feel free to pick up a copy of the PlayStation 2 game, Resident Evil: Dead Aim, for under twenty dollars at their local pawn shop.
I’ll probably pick it up anyway. As anyone who’s seen me play Rez knows, I sure do love a good rail shooter from time to time.

If you’ve got as many Mac-oriented sites on your RSS reader (or your daily reading habits) as I do, you can tell it’s almost time for the Macworld Expo. The signs? Maybe it’s all the wishlists, announcements, predictions, predictions and counterpredictions, podcast segments, iPod guides, oh and who could forget: the rumors.
I think Mac people love rumors more than Gawker sometimes, I really do.
I wish I could get out there but, you know, job. C’est la vie. I can hope for a smaller MacBook Pro in the same form factor as the MacBooks (tiny but powerful!) and, well, when it boils down to it that’s about all that’s on my wishlist for Macworld. I’m hoping we’ll see some interesting and new stuff out of Leopard, and something tells me that there won’t be a damn phone (I’m not sure why people are so hyped over the phone anyway: I couldn’t care less).
We’ll see, now won’t we?
Update: Maybe I’ll have to stock up; Merlin’s posted a Macworld ‘07 drinking game. I’m hoping for the Danika Cleary one, myself.

Last year there were a number of things I wanted to purchase; several of those goals were achieved, most notably the Nintendo Wii. Cellphone-wise I owned (and still own) a Blackberry 7100g. I also wanted to get a laptop; I ended up settling for the Toshiba Satellite A55-S1063, and was bitten - hard - by the results of trading performance for low price. (I’m looking to get rid of the damn thing, actually.) This year, however, there are a whopping two things I want to own, and my goal is to have both of them by the end of the year. What are they?
